Birthday Wishes Card (CASology Week #202 GDT)

Hi everyone! :o)

I was delighted to be asked to be a Guest Designer at CASology for Week 202, after I won in their Week 200 challenge. :o)

This week's cue word is Masculine.

I made this CAS (clean and simple), masculine, Birthday Wishes Card.

Additional inspiration to make this card was a current Create a Smile challenge: Favorite. I incorporated a lot of favorites on this CAS card.

First is the CAS (clean and simple) design, my favorite design.

I used two favorite Create a Smile stamp sets I have: 'Whimsical Wheels' and 'Mini Birthday'.

I went with all my favorite techniques to make this card:
  • stamping
  • paper piecing (image)
  • watercolor (image)
  • fussy cutting (image)
  • heat embossing

Other favorites:
  • dimension on card
  • black on white
  • white on black
  • blue color
  • white highlights
  • Distress Inks
  • enamel dots

Card dimensions: 96 mm x 133 mm (3 13/16" x 5 1/4")

List of supplies:

I hope you liked my today's card and got inspired. Stop by the CASology  and see amazing cards from the Design Team made for this challenge. Do join us, we can't wait to see your CAS masculine creations. :o)
