Vintage Christmas Ornament Card (Jane's Doodles DT Spotlight)

Hello everyone! :o)

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and are enjoying holidays. :o) I'm having a great time: enjoying quality time with my family and friends, having normal sleep and resting a lot. I needed that so much. :o)

Today is my turn to be on the spotlight over at Jane's Doodles and I made this Vintage Christmas Ornament Card:o)

To create this card I used stamps from three gorgeous winter themed Jane's Doodles stamp sets: Deck the Halls, Merry Christmas and Driving Home For Christmas.

I stamped an ornament on a watercolor paper and colored it in watercolor technique using Distress Inks. After drying, I fussy cut the ornament, colored edges with black marker and softened the ornament on a soft working mat using stylus ball.

I put the ornament aside and worked on a panel, for which I used a Kraft paper. I stamped the ornament again on the panel, as well as thread and colored the ornament in black.

Then I heat embossed in white a sentiment and tiny snowflakes.

I glued the panel on a white top folded card base, "fixed" the thread with black fine liner and glued watercolored ornament over the black one.

As a finishing touch, I drew white dots on the panel to make my scene a bit more festive. I love how my card turned out. :o)
